Testimonials

Daily Do Good is doing great work! By leveraging local writers to feature nonprofits and illustrating their impact, they are helping volunteers and donors find nonprofits that speak to their own values system. We're grateful to Daily Do Good for helping DC residents find their way to 826DC.

We’ve had a wonderful experience working with the team at the Daily Do Good. Not only did they take the time to come learn about who we are and what we do at DC Central Kitchen, but they  continue to take an active role in helping us spread our message beyond the kitchen walls. From retweeting content about our latest fundraising campaign, to posting stories about DCCK and the men and women enrolled in our Culinary Job Training program, to hosting events that bring us all together – the Daily Do Good does it all. We’re incredibly grateful for their interest in our work and their partnership in telling our story. Together we are making DC a more just and inclusive place for everyone who calls it home.

We had the pleasure of being featured on the Daily Do Good in April 2015 and had a wonderful experience. Their staff were professional, kind, and thorough. They took the time to really get to know our work through phone calls, in-depth review of our materials, visiting our programs in action, and even attending our annual fundraiser! Our feature on the Daily Do Good was fantastic and we greatly appreciated their support in helping to share our story with a broader audience.

Daily Do Good shines the spotlight on nonprofits who are doing great work in our community but might not get noticed on a daily basis. Byte Back had a great experience with them - it was such a pleasure for our volunteers, staff, and students to receive recognition, and we received more Facebook likes and social media attention because of it. We also love following the Daily Do Good's posts to hear about others' positive work. There is a lot of negative news and some disheartening things going on, but seeing the positive spin and how people are helping others on a daily basis could make anybody feel great!

The Daily Do Good spotlighted the work of my organization, Girls Inc DC, during Women's History Month. The Daily Do Good was such a pleasure to work with.  The reporter who visited our site made sure our mission was clearly highlighted - she listened to our girls, our staff and our volunteers to really tell our story.  I am so appreciative of an organization that works to tell the potentially overlooked stories of organizations like mine, a young Girls Inc affiliate in Washington DC.

Girls on the Run - DC truly enjoyed getting to work with the Daily Do Good team and being a featured organization! We were able to shed light on the mission of the organization to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that integrates running. The Daily Do Good team cares and knows that communicating the great work nonprofits do helps make change possible.

The Daily Do Good is not afraid to shake things up when it comes to communicating about the nonprofit world! It’s so refreshing to partner with an organization that embraces all facets of online communication and social media as a means of spreading positive news about important causes. At the same time, DDG also prioritizes person-to-person interactions and connections, and plans events that bring together professionals from all over the nonprofit map. That kind of outside-the-box approach is valuable and appreciated.

The Daily Do Good is a unique and instrumental philanthropic organization which does an exceptional job of helping non-profits within the community gain recognition and awareness for their causes. We were so honored when they chose our non-profit as their featured organization, and greatly appreciated the dedication they put forth to represent our mission to their growing audience. Our community needs The Daily Do Good to be kept continuously aware of opportunities for individuals to get involved and give back.

The Daily Do Good does more than spread kindness – it spreads information and awareness about incredible, local organizations. BEST Kids is completely dependent on long-term volunteers to serve as mentors for children in DC’s Foster Care system, and The Daily Do Good works to empower organizations like ours through job postings, recruitment events, etc. As a growing non-profit, the services that The Daily Do Good provides are vital to our continued growth.”

"I LOVE the Daily Do Good!!!  It's a one-stop shop for finding volunteer activities, charitable organizations and fun social events in the DC metro area.  Who has time to peruse the internet to find ways to give back?!?! With the Daily Do Good, the search is over!  I look forward to my next Daily Do Good newsletter!!"
