We’ve had a wonderful experience working with the team at the Daily Do Good. Not only did they take the time to come learn about who we are and what we do at DC Central Kitchen, but they continue to take an active role in helping us spread our message beyond the kitchen walls. From retweeting content about our latest fundraising campaign, to posting stories about DCCK and the men and women enrolled in our Culinary Job Training program, to hosting events that bring us all together – the Daily Do Good does it all. Daily Do Good shines the spotlight on nonprofits who are doing great work in our community but might not get noticed on a daily basis. Byte Back had a great experience with them - it was such a pleasure for our volunteers, staff, and students to receive recognition, and we received more Facebook likes and social media attention because of it. We also love following the Daily Do Good's posts to hear about others' positive work. There is a lot of negative news and some disheartening things going on, but seeing the positive spin and how people are helping others on a daily basis could make anybody feel great!
The Daily Do Good spotlighted the work of my organization, Girls Inc DC, during Women's History Month. The Daily Do Good was such a pleasure to work with. The reporter who visited our site made sure our mission was clearly highlighted - she listened to our girls, our staff and our volunteers to really tell our story.
